WEEK 8

After finish the PCB, I want to do the software programming of my project. I use PIC 16F877A. The programming need to burn on the PIC using PIC Burner. Below is the step how to burn PIC:

1.      Connect PIC programmer to computer via serial port / USB port.

2.      Insert PIC into the programmer socket.

3.      Copy ‘Winpic800’ folder to Desktop.

4.      Look for Winpic800.exe in the folder.

5.      Double click Winpic800.exe to start the program.

 

6.      Select proper PIC name in the top right combo box. 

 

 7. Open the .hex file which you want to download into PIC e.g. if your .c filename is ‘abc.c’, suppose you need to download ‘abc.hex’ into PIC. 

  8. Go to ‘Device’ -> ‘Program All’ to start download program into your PIC.

 

WEEK 7

After finish the etching of my PCB, next is to drill to make a hole on the PCB. After that, construct the component on the PCB and solder the PCB according to the circuit diagram. There two circuit in my project Transmitter circuit and Receiver circuit. First I do on Transmitter Circuit and then I continue on Receiver Circuit to construct and solder according to diagram that have been design.

WEEK 6

On this week I want to do the etching on the PCB that I finish draw. below is the step to do the etching:

1) PCB, salt and water. The PCB need to soaked with the salt water because to vanish the green colour on the board. 

2) Then it will appear the line that have been draw on the board.

3) Next the PCB need to soaked with the ecthing powder

4) After we soaked with the ectching powder the PCB only appear the line that we draw and the PCB colour change.

5) Then again need to soaked with the thinner to vanish all the green line. This step to make sure that the unwanted line is disappear.

6) Finish all the step of etching
